- Define and maintain scalable, modular system architecture for professional laundry equipment, ensuring long-term performance and maintainability.
- Lead system-level design activities, including specifications, interface definitions, technical reviews, and validation.
- Guide a cross-functional R&D team, setting clear goals and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Align architecture and development with product roadmaps through close collaboration with Product Management, Project Leaders, and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Partner with sourcing and supplier teams to evaluate and integrate external technologies.
- Drive integration of emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, predictive maintenance, automation) into future platforms.
- Promote platformization and reuse strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce complexity.
- Ensure comprehensive system documentation and traceability across architecture and interfaces.
- Champion compliance with industry standards and best practices in systems engineering and lifecycle management.
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in system architecture or complex product development, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing professional appliances, industrial automation, or commercial equipment.
- Deep understanding of embedded systems, industrial connectivity protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA), and cloud integration, along with knowledge of sustainability principles, energy efficiency standards, and lifecycle cost optimization.
- Hands-on experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using tools like SysML, UML, and Enterprise Architect, as well as familiarity with simulation tools, system modeling, and performance analysis.
- Strong leadership capabilities in people management and team development, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams toward common goals.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in the professional laundry or industrial appliance sector, knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and digital product development, and familiarity with PLM systems, requirements management, and version control systems.
