- Define and maintain the end-to-end system architecture for professional washer platforms, including embedded control systems, mechanical subsystems, connectivity modules, and user interfaces. Translate product requirements into system-level specifications, interface definitions, and design principles, ensuring designs meet performance, hygiene, durability, and energy efficiency demands.
- Lead architecture reviews, risk assessments, and validation activities throughout the development lifecycle. Drive system integration across the complete product and coordinate with Module Owners and other stakeholders for seamless delivery.
- Collaborate closely with software, hardware, mechanical, electrical, laboratory, and process teams to ensure cohesive system integration. Work with Product Management, Project Leaders, and Manufacturing Engineering to align architecture with product roadmaps and operational constraints.
- Support sourcing and supplier teams in evaluating and integrating external technologies and components into the system.
- Contribute to the integration of emerging technologies into washer platforms and drive platformization and modularity strategies to enable reuse and reduce complexity.
- Support intellectual property generation, including patent filings and technology scouting initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive system architecture documentation, including block diagrams, interface definitions, and traceability matrices. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality processes.
- Promote best practices in systems engineering, model-based design, and lifecycle management.
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 5+ years of experience in system architecture or complex product development-preferably in professional appliances or industrial systems.
- Proven experience in washer systems, fluid dynamics, control systems, hygiene applications, or similar product domains is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of embedded systems, control logic, mechanical/electrical integration, and industrial connectivity protocols.
- Proficient in system modeling and documentation tools such as SysML, UML, requirements management platforms, simulation environments, and version control systems.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile development environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams and disciplines.
- Preferred experience includes professional laundry systems, industrial automation, or commercial equipment, along with knowledge of sustainability principles, energy-efficient design, modular platforms, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
