SilverBack is helping a collaborative company find a full-time Civil Structural Engineer, and the role comes with an attractive hourly rate.The Civil Structural Engineer is responsible for overseeing the civil and structural design work for one of the areas of a large project - Steel Mill, Iron Reduction, Hydrogen Plant, Balance of Plant or Ground Works.In your first few weeks in this Civil Structural Engineer role, you can expect to:

Provide leadership and guidance on developing engineering and design strategy and concepts
Manage engineering work to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specifications, and process equipment operating targets
Advocate quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation
Develop or select engineering design standards and procedures to ensure that quality requirements are met and consistent.

To apply for this Civil Structural Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

Highly developed knowledge of industrial scale steel and concrete structures
Previous project experience within Scandinavian building codes and standards
Extensive experience working with EPCM civil construction engineers
