- PhD in Electrical Engineering with specialization in power electronics and/or power systems (or a comparable master's degree with notable research achievements).
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing power electronic converters and controllers, including hands-on experience with hardware prototyping, laboratory validation, and modeling & simulation.
- Demonstrated experience with Transmission System Operator (TSO) requirements and deep understanding of grid code compliance for utility-scale energy systems (e.g., dynamic performance, fault-ride through, inertia, harmonics mitigation).
- Proven experience leading complex R&D projects, ideally as a technical lead or principal investigator.
- Additional expertise in energy storage, advanced control strategies, or application of machine learning in power systems is a plus.
- Background in publishing peer-reviewed research, filing patents, or presenting at international conferences.
- Excellent communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and adaptability to new challenges.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
