As an engineer in our Core Technologies Media Team, you'll have the opportunity to dive deep into the world of embedded software development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Technology Investigation and Requirements Setting: Conducting feasibility studies and proof-of-concept development to validate new ideas and technologies.
- Programming and Implementation: Programming in C/C++, Python, and other relevant languages to create high-performance, efficient, and high-quality code.
- Algorithm and Architecture Development: Designing and implementing new features and architectures, ensuring they meet the defined requirements, standards and performance targets.
- Collaboration and Integration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software components into our products.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation: Identifying and resolving complex technical issues, driving innovation in video technology.
- Take technical ownership of specific projects and lead them to completion.
- Mentor junior colleagues and share your expertise.
- Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap and strategy.
- Drive architectural decisions and set our technical direction.
We're looking for passionate individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a collaborative and innovative environment. You should have:
- Experience in embedded systems development, preferably in a Linux environment.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and low-level development, with exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively debug and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in staying up to date with the latest developments in computer science and technology. Knowledge within video encoding (e.g., H.264, H.265, AV1) and streaming frameworks is considered a bonus.
- A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for driving Technology development and solving complex challenges.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- A master’s degree in computer science or related field.
