Sales Account Manager - Automation (Nordics)

- Meet or exceed sales targets.
- Penetrate key accounts in target customer accounts and applications.
- Passionately develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts.
- Proactively run the sales funnel and improve conversion to closed orders.
- Present and sell Andrew+ pipetting robot and associated products and solutions.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, and effective CRM utilization and maintenance.
- Maintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information.
- Visit customers to highlight Waters solutions.
- Provide information to marketing team to build business development programs
- Bachelors Degree, Masters, or PhD in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
- 3+ years in life science instrument / tools / chemistry sales
- Technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience, ideally an understanding of liquid handling and/or automation systems within the laboratory environment
- Solid understanding of life sciences research
- Highly hardworking and upbeat individual
- Successfully work in competitive sales situations
- Customer-focused with excellent listening and discovery skills
- Ability to maximize product visibility and raise awareness through in-person events and digital exposure (through webinars, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Ambitious spirit with a hands-on attitude
- Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex technical concepts
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to contribute as part of an integrated sales/service organization
- Proven organizational skills and ability to set priorities/lead time optimally
