Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: Chapter Lead Product Management Contactors & Motors Starting Solutions.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will optimize the product portfolio and return on investment in the field of Contactors in the global and agile team of “Develop platform: Contactors”. You will ensure that ABB has a full understanding of market requirements and is able to transform these requirements into product and platform specifications and development activities. Moreover, product management is responsible for promote, support and maintain existing offering.As a Product manager you will be a key player in bringing the customer voice into the ABB organization.

Drive product strategy through market, customer, and competitive analysis to shape roadmap and vision, embedding sustainability and circularity as strategic imperatives.
Carry the voice of the customer by anticipating needs, identifying opportunities, building business cases, and guiding innovation through customer insights and market foresight.
Optimize product performance by setting KPIs, tracking metrics, and refining offerings to meet goals and enhance satisfaction; support marketing with clear, compelling content and documentation.
Lead cross-functional teams across solutions, engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure smooth development and lifecycle execution; align agile stakeholders to priorities and foster continuous improvement

Qualifications for the Role

Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant background.
3 years' experience in product management or sales within the electrification sector, with a solid technical foundation and strong business acumen.
You are as a person ambitious, self-motivated and have a structured approach. You are customer-focused, with a keen awareness of market and competitor dynamics. A solution-oriented team player who listens and collaborates, but who also can work independently with prioritization skills and ability to quickly generate results.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
