With our innovative Olink solutions – including highly specific and validated assays that cover more than 5,000 proteins – our colleagues and technology empower scientists in groundbreaking research that will play a pivotal role in the future of personalized medicine.Discover Impactful Work:We are currently seeking a Clinical Sample Analysis Specialist for our Analysis Service department at Olink Proteomics. Analysis Services are our service laboratories analysing customer samples using Olink’s products in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Their workflow covers everything from experiment preparation to the delivery of analytical data. They are currently divided into two main groups: The lab team focusing on sample analysis in NGS laboratories, and a quality team which is responsible for ensuring high data integrity and compliance. This role belongs to the former.A day in the Life:
  • Conduct analyses with PSX products during regular Clinical Sample Analysis while adhering closely to internal regulations at PSX.
  • Run, assess, and handle laboratory samples (small to large sample sets) with outstanding quality and strict adherence to established protocols.
  • Operate autonomously within the Clinical Sample Analysis team and collaborate efficiently with other teams to guarantee seamless alignment of global Olink processes.
  • Grasp and operate in alignment with established methods, processes, and techniques related to Clinical Sample Analysis.
  • Actively maintain documentation and systems within the unit’s quality system.
  • Engage with both internal and external clients, offering a customer-centric approach to all facets of the job.
  • Work closely with seasoned Clinical Sample Analysis Specialists to address technical or sample-related challenges, customer or general issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the lab.
  • Assume a supporting or leading position as an equipment expert working with a seasoned Clinical Sample Analysis Specialist. Set up, use, upkeep, and fix laboratory machinery, systems, and materials while closely coordinating with PSX and instrument suppliers.
  • Take on additional projects and tasks at the request of the manager that are not included in this job description.
Keys to Success:Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in the Life Sciences field or a similar domain.
Experience:
  • One or more years of detailed laboratory experience, ideally routine tasks involving large sample sets and service organizations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and demonstrate flexibility in day-to-day tasks.
  • Capability to engage with both internal and external clients in a courteous and client-focused manner.
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Office programs and an ability to learn other software and systems.
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
  • Detailed, flexible, self-motivated, and proactive great teammate interested in collaborating across teams and subject areas.
