We’re looking for an Operations Director Nordic to take the lead on our operations across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. If you’re energized by driving results, empowering teams, and making things run just a little smoother – keep reading!What’s the role?As Operations Director Nordic, you’ll be responsible for the full Nordic operations function – from production to process improvements and capital projects. It’s a key role in the business, where your decisions directly affect both customer satisfaction and team performance.This is not just a role with operational impact – it’s also a key leadership position. You will be part of the Nordic Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction of the Nordic organization as a whole. You’ll be part of a European operations team and report to the Senior Director Supply Chain & Operations EMEA. This means collaboration, innovation, and having your voice heard, both locally and across borders.What you’ll be doingIn short? You’ll lead, improve, and connect the dots. More specifically, you’ll oversee:
  • Four production sites across Sweden, Norway and Denmark,(3PL in Finland) including warehousing and distribution, each with its own Site Manager handling the day-to-day work.
  • Additional functions like CAPEX & technical installations and process improvements.
You’ll lead a team of ~40 people and focus on areas like safety, service, costs, productivity, and continuous development.A few things you’ll be responsible for:
  • Setting and delivering on the annual operations budget
  • Leading with a strong safety-first mindset (experience with SEVESO & hazardous materials is a plus)
  • Driving customer service performance and enabling commercial growth
  • Identifying smart investments in equipment and tech
  • Developing your team and building internal capabilities
  • Building strong cross-functional collaboration (commercial, purchasing, logistics, sites, etc.)
  • Championing continuous improvement projects across the Nordic region
  • Making sure compliance boxes are checked – both internal and external
…and ensuring that everyone gets home safe, every day.Who are you?You probably have a degree in logistics, engineering, industrial economics, or similar. You bring solid experience in operations, ideally in a chemical or logistics-heavy environment, and you know how to manage change and lead people through it.You’re a natural communicator and a confident, approachable leader, someone who sets direction but also empowers people to do their best work. You think commercially, act strategically, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Working across the Nordics (and with colleagues across Europe), you’re comfortable navigating different cultures and remote collaboration.
