- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary design team across UX, UI, Game Design, Level Design, and Economy Design.
- Own the creative vision for the product area, aligning design strategy with business and product objectives.
- Champion a player-centric design culture, balancing usability, fun, and clarity in all game experiences.
- Partner with Product, Analytics, Engineering, and Marketing to shape and validate features that drive player value and business impact.
- Drive consistency, cohesion and excellence in design execution across monetisation and core gameplay scope.
- Support design tooling, process improvements, and design systems that enable quality and efficiency at scale.
- Mentor and grow the creative team through coaching, feedback, and development planning.
- Collaborate with other design leaders across Soda and King to evolve creative practices and ensure alignment with broader strategies.
- Own key aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and team health.
- Proven leadership experience managing creative teams in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
- Strong design instincts paired with a deep understanding of player motivation and game systems.
- Demonstrated ability to align creative direction with business and monetisation strategy.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience influencing product direction through design.
- Strong understanding of mobile UX/UI, game design principles, and player lifecycle.
- Experience overseeing design for both systems and content — from monetisation features to player-facing surfaces.
- Skilled in developing teams and cultivating craft excellence across disciplines.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Experience in mobile gaming or other live-service consumer products.
- Familiarity with economy design and its role in engagement and monetisation.
- Hands-on design experience in multiple disciplines (e.g. UX, UI, game design).
