You will work closely with business partners, product owners, and developers to ensure that security is seamlessly integrated into projects and aligned with business objectives. Part of your mission will be to drive security documentation, share best practices, and mentor development teams-helping them grow their skills while ensuring the highest standards of cybersecurity. Acting as the go-to expert, you will be a trusted partner on security matters both within and beyond the product team.Required Qualifications*1-2 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, including real-world exposure to threat mitigation and security architecture.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, especially in securing and managing Azure Web Apps and related services.
*Practical experience with GitHub for version control, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
*Previous experience in another IT or digital product domain, with involvement in identifying, planning, prioritizing, and executing product changes.
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and accessible way.Preferred Qualifications*Knowledge of containerized environments, including deployment, scaling, and management using Kubernetes (K8s) or Red Hat OpenShift.
*Some knowledge of other cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud.
*Experience with Atlassian tools, particularly Jira for agile project management and Confluence for documentation and collaboration.Your work will also focus on hands-on implementation, where you will make sure that solutions are secure, resilient, and built on best-in-class standards. From conducting risk assessments and managing remediation plans to strengthening identity and access controls, you will play a key part in protecting critical assets.
