Test Package Coordinator (Piping)

- Develop and manage test packages for piping systems in accordance with ASME B31.3, B31.1, EN 13480, and project-specific codes and standards.
- Review isometric drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), line lists, and weld maps to identify test limits and boundaries.
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure all field works are completed prior to test package release.
- Interface with QC/QA to ensure all welds are NDT-compliant and traceable as per project standards.
- Verify installation of all supports, valves, gaskets, and equipment prior to testing.
- Ensure that hydrostatic and pneumatic tests are performed in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records for test packages, including punch lists, test certificates, and checklists.
- Coordinate with the commissioning team for Mechanical Completion (MC) and System Handover.
- Ensure test packages are submitted and approved in accordance with project schedule and documentation control procedures.
- Participate in regular meetings with construction, quality, and client representatives.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in piping projects in the oil & gas, power, or industrial sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of ASME B31.1 / B31.3, EN 13480, and related codes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, and line class specifications.
- Strong knowledge of hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing procedures.
- Familiarity with ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans), welding documentation, and quality control processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of test package management systems and MS Office tools.
- Previous experience on large-scale EPC or commissioning projects.
- Knowledge of project documentation tools (e.g., OMEGA, Navisworks, AutoCAD etc.).
