There are no limits to where you can take your career.Learning & Development ManagerWe are seeking a forward-thinking Learning & Development Manager to take on a global role in shaping, driving, and delivering our people development agenda. The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for leading a team of seven professionals and for developing and executing strategies across Learning & Development, Talent Management, Engagement, Early Careers, and more for our Engines division.About the roleThe ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong execution skills, passionate about building a culture of continuous learning and enabling people to thrive. You will collaborate closely with leaders and HR colleagues worldwide to ensure there is access to learning and development opportunities for our employees to help them perform at their best in their current role and then prepare for their future role.As part of the management team for Engines HR Shared Services, you will take on a leadership role where you guide, develop and motivate your team - fostering collaboration, growth, and high performance. The team's main areas of responsibility include:
  • Develop and implement global training activities, programs, and tools that build skills and capabilities across the organization, aligned with business needs and strategic goals.
  • Drive leadership development initiatives and career growth programs to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Continuously improving our onboarding process, ensuring it is both efficient and welcoming. We want new employees to feel at home from day one and set them up for a successful start within the company.
  • Develop and manage programs for graduates, interns, and apprentices - ensuring impactful learning journeys.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities and other external partners to strengthen collaboration and support the company's long-term competence development.
  • Promote a positive and supportive work environment and culture by developing and evolving initiatives to improve employee engagement and well-being.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in human resources, business, or related discipline
  • Track record in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or other related HR functions - ideally in an international environment
  • Experience in managing a learning management system (e.g. SAP Success Factors) is desirable
You have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence effectively at all levels across the business. With experience of working across cultures, you bring a strong global mindset and the capability to navigate diverse environments.Your communication and coaching skills are well developed, enabling you to build trust and inspire others.You are not afraid to challenge existing ways of working, bringing fresh ideas and leveraging digital solutions to increase both efficiency and impact.
