Partnering with subject matter experts and Managing Partners to develop long-term client relationships during and outside of an engagement leading to repeat/new business opportunitiesContributing to the (1) development of proposals; (2) scoping and qualifying opportunities and (3) assisting with identifying optimal client solutions by communicating the Gartner value proposition PParticipating and actively supporting recruiting efforts to help the business growPerforming Sourcing and Spend Optimisation practice management activities including:Support EMEA Managing Practice Leads with practice initiativesProactive analysis and management of the Sourcing and Spend Optimisation practice pipeline, revenue and bookings for the Nordic region, including understanding trends, areas of growth and targets for increased focus/marketing/upskillingLeading and managing practice aligned associates including:Onboarding new practice associatesFostering and growing the regional practice communityCoaching and developing junior associates to build industry/ practice specific knowledgeFormal mentoring/ counseling responsibilities and annual performance evaluationsLeading/ coordinating with region resource management teams to drive staffing of practice associatesWhat you’ll need10+ years of experience, preferably in a well-known management consultancy with project delivery and sales experience within the Public Sector preferredPrior experience in developing RFXs for solutions (e.g, ERP, CRM), systems integration and outsourcing programsProblem-solving capabilities such as solutioning services to meet client needsAbility to influence and build trust-based, value-added relationships with senior executives, both internally and externallyBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or another quantitative discipline. MBA or equivalent preferredDemonstrating intellectual curiosity and creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems. Must adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to strike at the heart of a client’s most pressing business challengesFluent in Swedish languageMust be eligible for Swedish security clearanceSpecific Technical ExperienceProven experience developing full lifecycle sourcing strategies (and spend optimisation) for Technology services, sourcing transaction lifecycle management, providing optimisation recommendations, and creating negotiation strategies for IT contracts with key vendors in domains such as Digital, IT Infrastructure and Applications Services, SI and ERP (essential), hardware, software, cloud (preferred) for customers across industries (Commercial Sector preferred)Ability to analyze IT vendor portfolios and best practice contract assessmentsFamiliarity with principles of, or prior work experience in, one or more of the following:Contract/vendor managementVendor ecosystem performance managementGlobal Delivery centers, captives and shared services strategy and implementationDigital marketplaces, ecosystems and partnershipsIT (or non-IT) procurement/purchasing/vendor governance, including agile/dynamic sourcing methodologiesFamiliarity with IT service management, service integration, ITIL and Agile, DevOps, principles of sourcing (insourcing or outsourcing)Familiarity with Technology operating modelsExperienced working with large contract data set#LI-AL3Who are we?At Gartner, Inc.
