Opportunities for continuous development and to work hands-on in a growth-oriented company.What you’ll be doingAs Team Lead – Quality Operations Pharma, you'll play a central role in shaping how Karo partners with CMOs (Contract Manufacturing Organizations), ensuring regulatory compliance and driving efficient global quality operations. You’ll lead a high-performing team and act as a key strategic partner within Global QA.Team Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and develop the Quality Operations Pharma team through coaching, performance management, and strategic resource allocation.
- Drive competence development and ensure motivation and alignment with Karo’s values and goals.
- Manage team planning, KPIs, and budget-related responsibilities.
- Act as a core member of the Global Quality Management Team, contributing to business-wide initiatives and process improvements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related questions from Karo CMOs and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, and Directive 2001/83/EC across manufacturing and distribution partners.
- Oversee PQR management, CAPA, change control, and product compliance processes.
- Take ownership of key QA processes and report performance in Quality Management Reviews.
- Engage in strategic supplier relationship building in close collaboration with Sourcing and Global QA.
- Approve key GMP documents, specifications, validation protocols, and QA agreements.
- Act as lead auditor and approve audit reports; participate in internal audits.
- Sign off on regulatory documentation and delegate RP responsibilities as applicable.
- Over 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Deep knowledge of GMP, GDP, Directive 2001/83/EC, and HSLF-FS 2021:95.
- Proven experience with QA, QC, or manufacturing in regulated environments.
- MSc in Pharmacy, or degree in engineering (life sciences), chemistry, or biology.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in cross-functional settings.
- Strategic, hands-on mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving business.
- Excellent communication, structured approach, and pragmatic problem-solving ability.
