You will work with both real and simulated environments to validate network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality delivery for our clients. Every aspect of your work will be tied to building, maintaining, and executing tests in state-of-the-art telecom labs.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform end-to-end RAN testing for LTE/5G networks, including functional, performance, and stability validationConfigure, monitor, and control UEs and network nodes, including log analysis and troubleshootingWork with single-server gNodeB deployments and ensure integration with surrounding network componentsExecute protocol-level testing and analyze L1, L2, and L3 signaling according to 3GPP specificationsParticipate in lab setup, integration, and testing using both real and simulated environments (core responsibility of the role)Develop and execute test cases for carrier acceptance, feature validation, and network performanceApply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to complex lab and test issuesRequired Skills & ExpertiseTelecom Protocols: Deep knowledge of 3GPP protocols and LTE/5G NR stack; strong hands-on experience with L1, L2, and L3 signaling; understanding of ENI designRAN Testing: E2E RAN traffic testing expertise, including RAN configuration, UE control, RF troubleshooting, and log analysisUE Simulation Tools: Hands-on experience with Viavi TM500/E500, FsUE, LTE Sim, UCTool, and other UE simulation platformsNetwork & Debug Tools: Proficiency in C2RS, QXDM, Moshell, ICA, TGF, Ixia, Vector Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, and similar toolsDeployment & Platforms: Knowledge of single-server gNodeB deployment, RHOSP, and CNIS for network integration and testingAutomation & Analysis: Experience with test automation frameworks; strong ability to debug, analyze, and report results efficientlyWho You AreYou are a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in technically challenging environments.
