Om jobbet:We are looking for an engaged and experienced leader to manage two teams within our production department in Hagfors. As the head of the production department, you will play a key role in ensuring that our production goals are met within the set timeframe and budget. You will lead and oversee daily operations, implement and improve production processes to increase efficiency and quality, and manage and develop employees through coaching and training.As a person, you are attentive and communicative and can easily collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient production chain. As a manager, you are also responsible for your employees' work environment and safety.Responsibilities also include:
Working with both short-term and long-term personnel planning in consultation with the site manager.
Presenting at daily management meetings.
Familiarizing yourself with routines and regulations for quality, environment, and work environment/safety and ensuring that these are followed by subordinate staff.
Setting goals together with employees that support the unit's overall goals and following up on these goals.
Ensuring that rules, routines, and regulations are in place, updated, and complied with within the area of responsibility.
Actively participating in development projects and investments within the areas of responsibility.
Having cost responsibility against the set budget.
Reporting to the site manager and, if necessary, to relevant functions.
Being part of the local management team.
Qualifications:
Documented experience in leadership in a similar industry.
Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in implementing improvement initiatives and change management.
Good experience with business systems and related systems.
Proficient in Excel and other relevant Windows applications.
Relevant education or experience in engineering, production, or a similar field.
Competence requirements:
Technical High School/University or equivalent.
Previous experience in a leading position.
Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and familiarity with the most common Windows applications.
Meritorious:
Knowledge of labor law.
Competence in workshop/production technology and leadership.
