Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated Quality Control Development Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent/bold/passionate team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing/ramping up and contributing to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.About the jobLead and develop a team driving Quality Control Excellence, including quality control technology, investigations, expansion, calibration and documentation.Key responsibilitiesOverall areas of responsibility and activities.
  • Lead and develop a team of Quality Control specialists and Quality Support team members
  • Lead the scouting of new and innovative technologies to characterize intermediate and finished products and processes, track and develop the Quality Control Technology roadmap
  • Develop the core team to cover strategic quality control methods, skills and competencies as well as investigation abilities and technologies
  • Lead competence requirements for QC teams
  • Lead requirements and implementations of objectives and KPIs of Quality Control teams
  • Manage project plan and development of the QC- laboratories including layout, specifications, support in the RFQ process and execution of installations and commissioning in the ongoing expansion
  • Manage procurement processes for Quality Control
  • Lead LIMS implementation and improvement
  • Lead documentation management for Quality Control
  • Lead calibration and validation requirements for measurement instruments

  • Educational background and previous experience required for the role.
  • MSc in e.g. Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical engineering
  • 7+ years experience in quality control role
  • 5+ years experience in leading specialist teams
  • Experienced in developing new mechanical and chemical analytical and control methods
  • Experienced in quality improvement and problem-solving tools such as six sigma, 8D etc

  • Excellent English proficiency
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, six-sigma (e.g. green belt), 8D, 5S, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949
  • Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risked Based approaches
