
IT Security Specialist to Sweco IT

In this role you will work closely with other IT teams to conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and assess risk levels. You will also work with other IT colleagues to ensure that all software and hardware are up to date with the latest security patches and updates. You will perform security assessments of cloud applications to visualise potential risks during application reviews.Other responsibilities in the role includes:
- Assist in planning, implementing, and management of security measures to protect our IT infrastructure, networks, and systems from cyber-attacks, fraud, and other security breaches.
- Assist in developing and implement security policies and procedures and ensure that they are followed by all employees.
- Monitor and analyse security events and incidents and respond to security alerts and notifications.
- Stay up to date with the latest IT security trends, threats, and best practices.
- Respond to discovered incidents and work with resolving requests.
To be successful in the role as IT security specialist, we believe you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You communicate in an efficient way at different levels and can explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.Requirements:
- Proven experience with IT-Security, or equalling fields in IT, for a couple of years
- Strong skills in Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Azure IaaS
- Solid knowledge about security software and tools, including firewalls, antivirus & EDR software, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Good knowledge in scripting e.g. PowerShell and Python
