OHB Sweden
- Kista, Stockholm
- Permanent
- Heltid
- Mission Requirements Collection - Gather and analyse potential mission requirements for using RF ISL in small satellite constellations in LEO for LEO-LEO and LEO-GEO communications.
- Technical Specifications Definition - Define technical specifications for the RF ISL, including frequency bands, data rates, modulation schemes, and link budget.
- Market Research - Conduct market research to identify available RF ISL hardware suitable for small satellite platforms. Focus on Technology Readiness Level (TRL), power demand, mass, pointing requirements, and available data rates.
- System Architecture Development - Develop a system architecture document outlining the RF ISL components and their interactions. Include block diagrams, flowcharts, and descriptions of the overall system design, with a focus on the Telemetry and Telecommand (TM/TC) concept of operations in S-Band.
- Component Design - Create design documents for each RF ISL component, including transceivers, antennas, amplifiers, and filters. Provide schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications for each component.
- Signal Processing Documentation - Document the signal processing algorithms and protocols used in the RF ISL as part of a Space-to-Space Interface Control Document (ICD). Include mathematical models, flowcharts, and descriptions of the signal processing techniques.
- Design, Development, and Verification Plan (DDVP) - Develop a DDVP outlining the tests to be performed on the RF ISL components and system.
- Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) Plan - Develop an AIT Plan outlining how the RF ISL subsystem can be integrated into a small satellite platform.
- Software Development - Define a software development plan to model ISL access between LEO-LEO and LEO-GEO satellites. Ensure the software includes link-budget analysis and time-based performance criteria. Develop a software simulator as part of the small satellite simulator.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in RF communication systems development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of satellite communication and RF ISL technologies.
- Proficiency in software development and simulation tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- Opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Work on innovative projects with a talented team.
