Mechanical Engineer Commercial Vechicles to FEV

• Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components and systems for commercial vehicles.
• Conduct technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution on mechanical and structural issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to enhance vehicle performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead testing, validation, and certification of mechanical systems.
• Manage technical documentation, including CAD models, specifications, and reports.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of vehicle design and production processes.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in commercial vehicle engineering.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Mandatory minimun 4 years experience from heavy duty commercial vehicles.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a technical engineering role, specifically within commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, or heavy-duty vehicles).
• Strong proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, and AutoCAD.
• Deep understanding of vehicle mechanics, powertrain, suspension, and structural components.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
• Knowledge of material properties, welding, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret and apply engineering standards and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on innovation.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
