With Saab ATM's systems orchestrating thousands of flights worldwide, reliability and safety remain paramount.Job descriptionJoining a dynamic development team, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting cutting-edge air traffic management solutions. Collaborating closely with fellow developers and systems engineers, you'll contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of our Integrated Air Traffic Control Suite (I-ATS). Key Responsibilities: • Conceptualizing and implementing software architecture and designs, aligning with requirements and customer specifications within a product development framework. • Assisting test engineers by developing software for test automation frameworks, ensuring comprehensive testing procedures. • Crafting well-structured, efficient, and maintainable full-stack code to meet project objectives. • Actively engaging in peer code reviews, offering insightful comments and suggestions to enhance team performance. • Customizing and deploying software tools, processes, and metrics to optimize development workflows. • Participating in collaborative project initiatives with colleagues across global locations.Your profileWe are looing for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in software engineering, mathematics, a science-related field, or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, coupled with adept collaboration skills, is essential. Ideally, you bring approximately 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, demonstrating expertise in C/C++ and possessing hands-on Qt experience. Additionally, familiarity with agile development methodologies in crafting complex software systems, alongside proficiency in other programming languages like Java, Python, or similar, would be advantageous. While a passion for aviation is highly desirable, we're committed to supporting your growth in this domain. This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection.
