As part of Telenor´s growth ambition, further expanding our business in this vertical is key. We therefore have a need to strengthen our global organization with a technical expert dedicated to helping our existing and future automotive customers succeed with their current and next generation technical implementations.This position will report to the Head of Technical Solution Management. Your responsibility will be to secure and grow Telenor IoT’s business with existing and new automotive customers by delivering excellent technical guidance as part of a customer team. You will act as an interface towards internal stakeholders, be the technical voice of our customers and support with expert knowledge to form our existing and future technical offering. This means you will be familiar with Telenor IoT´s portfolio of offerings, designed to provide customized IoT connectivity and advanced specialized support to large, global automotive customers.You will execute on company and regional strategies to achieve our ambitions within the automotive industry, focusing on large and often complex opportunities and bids. This means you will work in a customer team together with Sales and Account Managers, as well as other internal key stakeholders to establish successful customer partnerships.Key responsibilities and deliverables:
  • Drive technical business dialogues from a growth perspective with existing customer as well as with new potential large customers, all unified by complex connectivity requirements within the automotive industry.
  • Design and maintain the connected car offering from a technical perspective together with stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships by giving technical insights to a broad spectrum of clients around the world.
  • Working cross functional in large and complex RFx responses and plan between and beyond these RFx cycles to execute on our strategy.
  • Promoting Telenor IoT Solutions to extend our leading position in the Enterprise market as the preferred provider of Global IoT services.
  • For existing larger accounts, work according to a defined governance model to capture customer needs and secure execution on operational, tactical, and strategic level where a strong network with stakeholders is a key to success.
  • Be updated on the latest trends and future expectations shaping the connected car landscape from a technology perspective such as developments within IoT technologies, Software Defined Vehicles, cloud/edge, and AI/ML disruptions.
  • Assisting the Account and Sales Managers in technical discussions, presentations, and solution verifications.
  • Represent Telenor IoT in various events and exhibitions.
Required experience and qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing connectivity technology solutions together with Automotive OEMs.
  • Good technical understanding in generic IoT connectivity, as well as vertical specific knowledge critical for the automotive sector.
  • A demonstrated ability to translate a technical value proposition into business value.
  • Excellent communications skills, comfortable to hold presentations and workshops at CXO level with customers.
  • University degree (BSc or MSc) or equivalent within relevant field.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
