We are looking for a driven and visionary R&D Manager - Proof of Concept to join our team and lead the early stages of product development.As our R&D Manager for Proof of Concept, you will drive and manage the exploration and validation of new technologies and concepts. Your mission is to translate complex ideas into innovative, feasible solutions, ensuring alignment with relevant standards, regulations, and directives.Main tasks and responsibilities

Lead the proof-of-concept process from idea generation to demonstrable prototype
Apply your expertise in system engineering to design and evaluate complex systems
Drive innovation, secure intellectual property, and manage patent activities
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, standards, and directives
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform concepts into potential products
Guide and mentor a talented team of engineers and specialists.

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience in system engineering, innovation management, and patent processes
Solid understanding of industry regulations and directives
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset
Advantageous: experience in Functional Safety and/or Cyber Security.
