Job descriptionTeleoperation or Remote control of vehicles is a current active research topic and is seen as a way to support the self-driving vehicles of the future, both the transition to fully self-driving and as a support system to handle fault cases or situations that the self-driving vehicle cannot handle.The research work on teleoperated vehicles with a focus on vehicle dynamics is about research on human and machine interaction. The work also deals with control engineering aspects as well as filtering and signal processing. The work is linked to a series of VINNOVA funded projects, REDO, REDO2 and CORD. The purpose of the research is to understand how different technical solutions affect an operator's ability to drive a vehicle safely in different driving cases and to develop support for the operator to increase its ability to drive the vehicle efficiently and safely.What we offer

A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
Previous experience in research on remote-controlled vehicles.
