As a Backend Engineer on our Operational Systems team, you'll play a key role in crafting a high impact platform using a modern tech stack: Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka and more. This is a chance to join a highly collaborative team where you'll work closely with product managers, and other engineers to deliver exceptional results.YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:● Collaborating with the team to plan, execute, design, and test the solutions for improving back office functionalities.● Integrating tools such as Zendesk and Chatbot to enhance customer support workflows.● Ensuring scalability and fault tolerance of systems through the implementation of microservices architecture.● Utilizing Git/Github for version control and Jira for issue tracking.● Building and maintaining complex systems to optimize performance and functionality.● Proactively identify architectural improvements and implement innovative solutions.● Actively contribute to team discussions, task creation, and delivery in a self-organized, agile environment.OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS● 3+ years in developing modern applications.● You know Java, Kotlin, MySQL and Spring boot well.● You can work in a highly collaborative and agile team.● You are used to writing tests.NICE TO HAVES● You have worked with Kafka, GraphQL and GCP● You are familiar with and value Clean Code and Design patternsWHO WE AREAt the core of LeoVegas Group is Team Leo.
