Look no further, we have a fantastic opportunity waiting for you in JBT Marel!ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Helsingborg. The main areas of responsibilities will be:

Timely and accurate reporting of JBT AB on a monthly basis, both from Swedish and US Gaap perspective including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations
Actively participate in monthly balance sheet reviews working with the business and SSC (Shared Service Centre)

VAT reporting and support to the orginization with VAT, TAX and other legal enquiries
Support internal and external audit requests and participate in efforts to remediate audit and control findings

Document standard operating procedures and instructions surrounding accounting procedures
Corporate governance for JBT AB including support with Annual report, work with external service providers on the Income Tax declaration and assist on board changes
Intercompany compliance such as monthly reconciliations and transfer pricing agreements
Share best practices in accounting practices with others in the Accounting CoE and support the Accounting Manager to implement them within the team

Besides this, included in the areas of responsibilities lays communication with Tax Authorities and Tax Advisors as well as Internal and External Auditors. You will also work with internal compliance and drive improvement projects. This requires a sharp eye and genuine interest for accounting both from a legal and managerial standpoint!As JBT AB is owned by JBT Marel, a US listed company, it requires a strict internal control environment. JBT has complied with the SOx program (Sarbanes Oxley Act) since the beginning of 2002. This role will give you the opportunity to learn and to broaden your knowledge within internal control and processes as well as the accounting differences between the Swedish and US Gaap.QualificationsOur focus is to find the right person who can continue to grow together with us and develop the company. However, it is preferrable if you have a solid knowledge of the Swedish Financial reporting standard K3.As a person, you are used to work independently with a clear structure and an attention to details. You meet deadlines and like to work within an environment that constantly change. We see that you have a high integrity as well as a flexible team player. The role includes several social touchpoints (both internally and externally) and therefore you must like to cooperate and have good social skills.To be successful in this role, we believe that you have the following profile:

An academic degree within relevant field, for example in Business Administration - Accounting or similar education
3 to 5 years’ experience of qualified accounting or similar
Strong knowledge in the Swedish Financial reporting standard K3
Very good knowledge in Excel
Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and verbally
Knowledge of US Gaap as well as SOx program would be the cherry on top and seen as a strong merit, but it is not a requirement - so don’t let this stop you from applying!
