Within the division, there are geotechnical engineers, bridge engineers, project managers, landscape architects, traffic planners, water/land/road and railway designers, risk analysts, air, climate and sustainability specialists, environmental engineers, hydrogeologists, construction managers, and more.

We are currently seeking a passionate Geotechnical engineer to join our Geotechnics group in Gothenburg.Lead the way in Geotechnical engineering
As a part of our global team of experts, you'll have the chance to work closely with colleagues across departments and across office boundaries. As we have received many exciting assignments and won interesting framework agreements, we need to become more within geotechnics, and are now looking for a geotechnical engineer.In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work independently, and collaborate with project groups within COWI. Our assignments range from large infrastructure assignments to assignments within urban development, construction technology, industry, and environment for both state, municipal, and private clients. To assist you, there are experienced colleagues and skilled field geotechnical engineer along with a large international network of geotechnical engineers within the entire COWI group.We work across borders and within different business areas where we share our knowledge and build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. You contribute with your expertise while you get the opportunity to learn from the best.Your daily tasks will be to:
- Work within geotechnical assignments, from early stages to project planning.
- Work with geotechnical investigations, analyze data and prepare reports.
- Present results and actively participate in project meetings.
- Collaborate with other disciplines within projects.
- Have contact with customers and authorities.

We're looking for a team player who is eager to take on challenging assignments within geotechnical assignments. As a person, you are a responsive team player, communicative and committed, and stimulated by developing business solutions together with colleagues and customers.To fit for the service, you also need to:
- Have a relevant civil engineering degree.
- Have at least 5 years of experience from projects within Geotechnical engineering.
- Be able to speak and write fluently in Swedish and communicate well in English.
