Short DescriptionAircraft Transfer is part of SAS Technical Operations, whose mission is to deliver airworthy aircraft in line with SAS standards and at the lowest possible cost. We are now looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our team.Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the phase-out process of aircraft leaving SAS for new operators and lessors.
  • Managing the phase-in process of both new and used aircraft entering the SAS fleet.
  • Leading projects with a strong focus on continuing airworthiness, safety, and cost efficiency.
  • Carrying out duties as a Check Flight Engineer, performing check flights both planned and on demand.
  • Coordinating activities with authorities, lessors, manufacturers, and colleagues within SAS.
This position involves extensive business travel and requires a flexible approach to working hours. You will report to the Manager of Aircraft Transfer within the SAS Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization.Qualifications & Requirements
  • Higher technical education; EASA Part-66 license on SAS-operated aircraft (A320NEO, A330, and/or A350).
  • Relevant experience in continuing airworthiness.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong knowledge of EASA Part CAMO, Part 145, and OPS regulations.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations.
  • Experience with SAS-operated aircraft types is an advantage.
  • Experience working with AMOS is an advantage.
  • Experience managing external relations with aircraft manufacturers, maintenance providers, lessors, and authorities.

  • This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
