We're looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. You’ll be working hands-on with embedded systems and charging technologies in real-world environments. Most of your work will be in C and C#, developing software for electric road systems and vehicle interfaces.This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career developer passionate about sustainability, hardware-oriented development, and making a real-world impact.What You’ll DoDevelop and maintain embedded software in C for electric road charging hardwareBuild and support higher-level applications and tooling in C#Collaborate closely with electronics, mechanics, and test teamsSupport system integration, testing, and debugging in lab and field environmentsParticipate in code reviews and help improve development practicesRequired Skills & QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldProficiency in C and/or C#Experience with microcontrollers (e.g. STM32, ESP32)Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitudeStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishWillingness to work on-site in LundNice to HaveFamiliarity with CAN, UART, or other communication protocolsExperience with Git and LinuxExposure to software testing or continuous integration practicesExperience with low-level debugging, system bring-up, and hardware validationWhy join Elonroad?With us at Elonroad, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of something unique and help building a growing company from the ground up. With his background in electrical engineering, Zethraeus built the first prototype using his children's Lego bricks.Today, we are at the forefront of transforming transportation with our electric road system that caters to all electric vehicles, whether it's a parked car, a long-haul truck, or a family vehicle.
