
Legal Entity Manager - Nordics

The role of Legal Entity Manager is a critical role for the business, reporting directly to the General Manager (GM). The role includes providing regulatory and operational support, and implementations, to the Nordics GM&NS business, and explicitly keeping the GM updated and well informed. It also includes representing business interest in risk committees for the Nordics markets, as well as partnering closely with business, compliance and operational teams. All to ensure a compliant and business focused operation.Principle Responsibility:
- Leading the implementation of new, or changed, regulatory requirements across several markets and channels
- Operative support for updates of terms, forms, policies, and other documents
- First point of contact and ownership for internal audits and support to GM for any external audits
- Point of liaison between the market and central operative teams to drive central initiatives locally
- Lead operational risk efforts-own remediation plans, track progress, and drive projects
- Represent business interests in legal entity governance and collaborate closely with governance structures
- Coordinating second-line testing and managing data requirements
- Project Management of regulatory local projects and ad-hoc compliance projects supporting the GM
- Excellent communication skills and fluent proficiency both verbal and written in English and Swedish, some knowledge of Finnish is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields of study or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage complex projects and run multiple initiatives in parallel with a strong sense of planning
- Attention to detail and rigor given the complexities involved in the content
- Ability to build and leverage relationships
- Ability to challenge the status quo and take decisions independently when required
- Strong excel skills to manage and manipulate data from multiple sources
- Previous experience working with KYC / AML
- Prior legal knowledge from firm or company
- Proactive problem solver with a 'can-do' attitude
- Positive approach with ability to work under pressure
