- Overall responsibility for all assigned project managers (programmatic, financial, technical), within the framework agreed with the customer.
- Coaches and holds project managers accountable to ensure programmatic success.
- Manages HR processes for direct reports (competence planning, recruitment, performance, development).
- Identifies and drives upselling and new business opportunities with internal stakeholders.
- Supports technical proposals, including cost and schedule estimates.
- Contributes to technology, product, and strategic roadmaps using business intelligence.
- Leads and coordinates overall project planning and execution.
- Oversees project controlling with finance and project control teams.
- Coordinates with Engineering, Operations, and other functions to secure resources.
- Appoints and develops Project Managers; manages assignments, resource planning, and training needs.
- Builds a high-commitment, sustainable work environment and acts as escalation point.
- Leads project teams to ensure contract-compliant execution, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
- Secures team composition aligned with project needs, in coordination with line managers.
- Ensures effective communication and periodic progress reporting to the Executive Team.
- Manages milestones, deliverables, payments, and risk mitigation.
- Drives continuous improvement to create long- and short-term value.
- Education in Engineering, B.Sc level / M.Sc. level Extensive Certified and/or deeply experienced within
- Project/Program Management
- Experience from project execution in an international environment
- Extensive managerial experience (
- Holistic view, strategic orientation, and excellent analytical skills
- Lead and develop the team in accordance with the company values as well as business strategy and goals
- Customer insight, experience from the customers' business and organization
- Technical understanding and know-how of related field of work and generalistic approach.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills; solution-driven, commercially minded, resilient under pressure, and effective at prioritizing in complex environments.
- Motivational team player and change agent with high energy; fosters collaboration, shares knowledge, develops people, and drives positive impact with a can-do attitude.
- Fluent English
- Experience of working in other Space companies
- Experience from working in an international environment
