
Account Manager

- Manage and expand international sales activities with a primary focus on Europe
- Identify, approach, and convert new customers and market segments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and distributors
- Represent NorthLab at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings (approx. 50% travel)
- Provide customer insights to support product development and strategic decision-making
- Experienced in international B2B sales, preferably within photonics, fiber optics, or advanced production equipment
- Technical background - Engineering degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated success managing complex, long-cycle sales processes
- Strong ability to communicate with technical stakeholders including engineers, R&D teams, and academic partners
- Structured, relationship-oriented, and persistent - adept at building long-term partnerships rather than transactional sales
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in German or French is advantageous
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Eligible to pass background checks, including security clearance (defense sector collaborations)
- Contribute to shaping the growth journey of a highly specialized, profitable company
- Work in an international, innovative, and fast-evolving industry
- Engage with global customers and leading-edge technologies
