You will be based at the site in Kalmar.How you will make an impactAs the effective Head of Finance and key financial sparring partner for two Production Sites, you will be a key member of the Management Teams at both Kalmar and Östersund factories.In this pivotal role, you will drive both operational and strategic initiatives, leveraging your insights to analyse, communicate, and navigate site performance in line with our ambitious goals. By closely monitoring results, you will maintain a comprehensive overview of financial performance, challenge the status quo, and help set and achieve targets that strengthen efficiency and the bottom line. As the trusted owner of the numbers and key point of contact, you will act as an advisor on all financial matters relating to the sites, ensuring transparency, consistency, and the sharing of vital knowledge and best practices .   • Performance Communication & Operational Efficiency: Clearly communicate financial performance across the organization, ensuring transparency and a shared understanding of site results, while proactively driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement in performance.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a strategic sparring partner and advisor, providing robust financial analysis, business cases, and fact-based recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • Ownership of Numbers: Serve as the ultimate owner of site financials, ensuring up-to-date forecasts, and consistency in numbers to drive effective, forward-looking performance dialogues with a strong focus on net efficiency.
  • Key Point of Contact: Be the ONE point of contact bridging support functions and critical business functions, acting as a trusted financial advisor and helping to set the direction for the sites.
You will enjoy close cooperation with your colleagues at the other sites, and you will be involved in projects, analysis, performance management, best practice and other relevant tasks.What will make you successfulTo be successful in this role, we believe you have a degree in economics and previous experience as a Finance Business Partner or Controller. Experience within manufacturing or logistics finance is a plus. You are expected to work confidently within the Microsoft Office package, and it would be advantageous if you are familiar with SAP and Business Warehouse Solutions, though this is not a requirement. Furthermore, you are fluent in Swedish and English.You are a people-oriented person, with a curious mindset that drives you to explore new possibilities. Your business acumen and analytical skills help you navigate and solve complex challenges. You thrive in an environment of constant change and are a reliable, passionate ambassador for Arla's strategy and vision.
