Now, we’re entering an exciting new phase: launching a range of new products to further strengthen our position in the market.To support this journey, we’re expanding our architecture function with a Solution Architect who will play a key role in leading this next step – shaping technical solutions that align with business strategy, enable innovation, and drive efficient execution across our technology landscape.About the role:You’ll work across the entire Tech domain at NOBA with a broad scope and high level of ownership. In this hands-on and delivery-focused role, you’ll lead architecture work within specific projects or domains, shaping solutions from early ideas to implementation.You’ll collaborate closely with other architects, tech leads (software engineering, data, cloud/Azure, infrastructure), and stakeholders from both business and tech. When needed, you’ll also act as technical project lead by guiding design decisions, coordinating input, and ensuring alignment across teams.Key areas you’ll contribute to:

Supporting business strategic initiatives across NOBA
Harmonizing the system landscape and shared services across the group
Evolving and utilizing our Azure cloud platform
Launching new products and working closely with different teams to bring new digital products to market - from idea to solution.

Main tasks:

Design and guide the implementation of technical solutions aligned with business goals
Drive architectural decisions across teams and projects
Translating business needs into technical solutions that is well structured, with clearly defined boundaries and scalable solutions
Act as technical lead for smaller projects – from scope to delivery
Collaborate across disciplines – software, cloud, data, infrastructure – to ensure end-to-end architectural fit
Document technical designs and promote knowledge sharing.

We are looking for you who:

Experience leading initiatives within the technical domain, e.g. as a technical project leader, team lead or similar
Strong background in solution architecture – from idea to implementation
Ability to break down complex challenges into clear, actionable parts
Excellent communication skills – able to bridge tech and business
Proactive, self-driven way of working – you take initiative, follow up and coordinate activities independently
Background in software development (back-end)
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken) plus basic proficiency in Swedish (e.g. comfortable understanding Swedish and responding in English).

It's positive if you have:

Architecture experience in banking (especially corporate banking) or other regulated industries
Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms
Experience with .NET
Understanding of DevOps, infrastructure, and networking (collaborative level, not hands-on)
Information security knowledge – including architectural risks and mitigation strategies
Experience working with external vendors and stakeholders.
