Numerous Energy Scientists and Experts constantly collaborate and share their expertise to push boundaries and make our materials fit for future demands and applications such as HVDC and UHVDC.   • Facilitate and coordinate research, technology and application development in line with our innovation objectives, with a specific focus on insulation and semicon materials for HVDC and AC power cables
  • Participate in R&D projects, collaborate with different scientists and drive the development of new polymers and compounds within the Energy sector
  • Work closely with the lab and testing teams in our inhouse testing facilities
  • Connect with our commercial team and contribute with your expertise along the whole value chain
  • Collaborate with external networks and partners (e.g. academia, conferences, forums)
  • Potentially be involved in standardization bodies and certification
  • Lead and/or support full IPR coverage of our innovations in close cooperation with Borealis IPR specialists, Patent Portfolio Owners and others
  • Follow high scientific and safety standards in your daily work
About you
  • PhD or Master's degree in Polymer Science/Engineering, Polymer Physics, Polymer Chemistry, High Voltage engineering or similar
  • Proven experience in testing and polymer properties for HVDC power cable applications, acquired over many years in the industry
  • Written and spoken communication skills in English
