Om jobbet:Do you want to be part of creating history in Swedish Space Industry? In 2024, we plan to enable launch of satellites from Esrange outside of Kiruna in the North of Sweden. Now there is a unique opportunity for you to be part of the operation of the new rocket motor test sites.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Ground Safety Engineer, you will be part of our safety and operations team. You will handle ground safety in all aspects, with a focus on the rocket engine test stands where rocket engine tests are being conducted daily. You will be involved in the test activities and develop a deep knowledge of rocket engine operations and different test procedures. Together with our customer and the rest of the department you will establish and maintain routines for all hazardous activities.PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCETo enjoy the role as Ground Safety Engineer, we believe you have a master's degree in a technical field or equivalent and can understand complex processes. You are an experienced engineer, extra merit with experience from working in the industry with similar roles such as Safety Engineer or Process Engineer with knowledge of Swedish safety & health and other legislations. You have experience and have work with process risk assessment, quality and safety. You will deal with pressurized systems, chemical systems, cryogenic systems, hazardous materials and explosive systems, analyzing and documenting new systems and procedures. You have professional proficiency in English and strong organizational and communication skills. Driving license is a requirement and being fluent in Swedish is an extra merit.WE OFFER YOU
