More information about us is available at www.brenderupgroup.comWe are currently seeking a Project Buyer to join our team in Jönköping.Role and Purpose: To strengthen our team, we’re now looking for a Project Buyer / Project Sourcing who can secure the right suppliers, materials, and components to keep our projects running smoothly. As a Project Buyer / Project Sourcing, you will play an important role in our group purchasing function but also an important role in the key projects being run in the company. We take pride in delivering high-quality products and driving efficiency throughout our processes.In this role you will also manage indirect material & services (IMS) for the site in Jönköping.Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent Group Purchasing function in different types of projects being run in Brenderup Group, from early concept phase to start of serial production.
  • Close collaboration with Project Manager, R&D, Supply Chain and other key stakeholders to align and agree on project activities and timelines.
  • In collaboration with Category Managers in Group Purchasing team ensure competitive pricing, reliable delivery, and fulfillment of quality standards for new purchased items.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate pricing, and analyze supplier terms & conditions to reduce risk and maximize cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or innovation.
  • Stay informed about market trends, supplier performance, and changes in the industry to make informed decisions.
  • Manage of indirect materials and services (IMS) at our Swedish site in collaboration with different functions using the IMS.
  • This role will also oversee and follow up our transport solutions, primarily for Sweden.
  • Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies, regulations, and Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in similar purchasing roles.
  • A general technical interest and knowledge of industrial production methods and production processes relevant to trailer industry.
  • Basic knowledge of purchasing process in ERP software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with suppliers.
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, market analysis, and supplier management.
  • Understanding of indirect material procurement.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyze data for decision-making.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and ethical practices.
  • Language skills - Fluent in Swedish and English
