Najell is growing, and we are adding a new key player to the team – a Strategic Product Designer who will lead the development of new categories to our growing assortment.This role will team up together with our Strategic Purchaser and together take new products and categories from idea to market. Najell wants to continue driving product innovation and increase our already wide costumer offering.About NajellAt Najell, we create products to empower parents who wants to live life on their terms. Based in central Lund, Sweden, we are reaching 30-50% more customers on a yearly basis through new innovative products and expanding to new markets.Join us for an exceptional growth journey – one that few get to experience!The Role: Strategic Product DesignerAs our Strategic Product Designer your mission is to break new ground, develop new categories and new products in materials other than fabric. Find ways of improving and create new stars among our product offerings.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new categories and new products in close collaboration with sales, supply and product development teams.
  • Create concepts and materials to visualize direction for new categories and products.
  • Lead product development from idea to product launch.
  • Constantly look for improvements and business opportunities with new product developments.
  • Stay up to date for trends and follow relevant EU/US/CN regulations and standards.

  • Entrepreneurial and always looking for new business opportunities.
  • Strategic and proactive in your approach, but hands-on when needed.
  • Passionate about creating products that offer new functionality.
  • You have expertise in working with variety of materials like plastic, wood and metal.
  • You work seamless with 3D software like SolidWorks/Fusion360 as well as Adobe.
  • You have worked with product development for consumer goods and retail.
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Relevant higher education.
  • Curious and solution-oriented with a strong commercial mindset.
  • Strong visual design know-how.
