We are recruiting for permanent positions of 6-8 hours/week starting as soon as possible by agreement, as well as temporary positions of 32 hours/week (approximately 80%) starting from 2024-11-10 and during our fantastic Christmas buffet period.WHO YOU AREYou are a team player who is goal-oriented, curious, solution-focused, efficient, and meticulous. Working with usWe at IKEA Food are a wonderful team who love to work together and help each other and our guests. As a Food co-worker, you will meet our guests and may work in one or more of our areas; the restaurant (serving), the Bistro, Matbutiken, at our checkouts, and in the dish area.As an employee, your task is to enhance the customer's experience through food. Our customers should not leave hungry during their visit with us.   • 6 hours/week permanent, including a 6-month probationary period - Scheduled work every other weekend (only for students).
  • 8 hours/week permanent, including a 6-month probationary period - Scheduled work every other weekend and 1-2 weekday evenings a week. This is a perfect contract measure for you with flexible studies or for those who have another flexible part-time employment.
  • 32 hours/week fixed-term employment - Scheduled work on both weekdays and weekends starting on November 10, 2025. The end date for this employment is at the end of December 2025 or at most until early January 2026.
  • A combination of both permanent and fixed-term employment.
For our permanent positions (6-8 hours/week), the expectation is that you show interest in moving to a higher contract during holidays such as Christmas and summer. There may also be opportunities to work extra at other times during the year.Furthermore, we hope that you wish to work with us for at least a few years, alongside your studies/other part-time commitments.The working hours are scheduled and vary between 07:30 AM and 08:45 PM.As an Food co-worker, you receive a salary according to the collective agreement and good supplements for inconvenient working hours.
