Your role include developing supplier bases, strategies and driving commercial negotiations, while safeguarding excellence in delivery performance, quality, technological development, and sustainability. You work in close partnership with suppliers, performing in-depth commercial and technical analyses to optimize your business area. Collaboration with various internal teams, including R&D, Project Purchasing, SQA, Scania Latin America, and the Traton group, will be integral to your success.Who You Are
As the ideal candidate, you possess a strong commercial acumen, coupled with a keen interest in technology. You're analytical, structured, and proactive, with a proven track record of reliability and effective organizational skills. Your ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain strong relationships, and represent Purchasing professionally across various functions and with suppliers is paramount. As the market in which we operate is in a constantly evolving context, it is important that you are self-driven and confident in navigating situations without always having a defined process to rely on.You bring previous experience in sourcing manager roles or a relevant background, demonstrating exceptional results and a commitment to ongoing learning. An academic degree in engineering, business, or similar is expected, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluent English (Swedish proficiency is advantageous).This Is Us
