We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Certification Engineer for our client, an innovative player in the energy systems sector with a strong focus on sustainable solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both technical and administrative tasks and has experience with certification processes such as CE marking, and preferably UL standards as well.In this position, you will work with specialized tools used in the installation and maintenance of high-voltage equipment. You will be a key person in ensuring that these products comply with relevant regulations, both for new developments and updates to existing products. Your responsibilities will include maintaining technical documentation, collecting and updating supporting materials, and supporting the certification process by, for example, identifying replacement components and managing communication with external test laboratories and certification bodies.The work involves a high level of independence as well as close collaboration with project managers, development engineers, and suppliers, both nationally and internationally.We are looking for someone with:
  • Experience with CE marking and familiarity with relevant directives and standards
  • Preferably, experience with UL certification
  • Solid knowledge of electrical engineering, high-voltage knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work in a structured manner with technical documentation
  • Experience participating in the entire certification process
  • Strong communication skills in English (Swedish is a plus)
  • Interest in regulations and quality assurance
  • A minimum of a vocational college (YH) education in a relevant field
