As the Manager, Information Security you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of MacGregor’s information security strategy, governance model, and operational framework. The role ensures that information assets, systems, and data are protected in alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite.The position provides strategic leadership in security governance, risk management, compliance, and incident response, while maintaining oversight of the technical controls and tools necessary to protect the enterprise environment. This includes responsibility for data protection and privacy management.The role requires close collaboration with the MacGregor Executive Team, IM Management Team, business unit leadership, and external partners.More tasks and responsibilities
  • Security Strategy & Governance
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s security strategy and governance model. Drive security initiatives, track KPIs, and report on security posture to senior leadership. * Risk Management & Compliance- Ensure compliance with standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 27000, NIST, GDPR, NIS2). Manage risk assessments, policies, and coordinate internal and external audits. * Techincal Oversight- Oversee enterprise security architecture and ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements. Manage selection and implementation of security controls and services. * Operations & Incident Management- Supervise monitoring, incident response, and remediation processes. Continuously improve threat detection and response capabilities. * Data Protection & Privacy- Define and lead data protection strategy, ensuring secure handling of personal and sensitive data and conducting privacy impact assessmentsReporting directly to the VP of Information Management, located in Sweden. The position is primarily located in Gothenburg. Alternatively, other MacGregor locations are also an option.What you'll need to succeed

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Technology, Cyber security or equivalent
  • Minimun 5 years of experience in information security, risk management and leadership
  • Proven track record in developing and executing enterprise-level security strategies and roadmaps.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 27000 series, including ISO 27001 certification processes
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, NIS 2, Cloud Act).
Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, COBIT, COSO, ITIL * Excellent written and verbal skills in EnglishWhy MacGregor?
