- Take ownership of preparing and filing local financial statements (K3) and related disclosures, in collaboration with auditors and external consultants.
- Support the tax team with annual tax filings for Swedish entities, working closely with designated external advisors.
- Oversee and review the monthly close process, contributing where needed to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform thorough reviews of balance sheet notes, providing input on key accounts as necessary.
- Contribute to interim and year-end audits, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of assigned materials.
- Manage, support, and develop the local accountant to ensure all accounting tasks are completed on time and regulatory compliance is maintained.
- Assist with the execution of the major parts of interim - monthly and quarterly as well as the annual external reporting including any preliminary announcements
- Assist the reporting team with the multi-currency IFRS consolidation process and monthly management reporting for the Group
- Handle non-complex technical aspects of the Group's financial statements
- Ensure all reporting aligns with statutory and regulatory requirements, including audits and disclosures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with local finance teams, auditors, and external advisors to gather, analyse, and consolidate financial data.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, providing support to both the Group finance and business unit finance teams
- Qualified Public accountant/economist with post-qualification experience in a Group function. A listed company being a clear advantage.
- Proven experience in Group consolidation and Swedish company reporting, with a strong background in leadership by expertise and example.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in finance systems – NetSuite and Aaro a clear advantage - and advanced Excel, with the ability to manipulate and present complex financial data.
- Knowledge of IFRS, Swedish statutory accounts, and relevant disclosure requirements.
- Confident and effective communicator, capable of building relationships and presenting financial information in Swedish and English clearly and concisely
- Proactive and self-motivated with a keen interest in taking ownership of projects and responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
- Professional qualification in accounting/finance
- Min. 5 year’s experience in qualified accounting roles
- Native Swedish language, and fluent in English, spoken and written
