- hold a Master’s (second-cycle) degree in molecular biotechnology engineering, or
- have completed at least 240 credits in higher education, with at least 60 credits at Master’s level including an independent project worth at least 15 credits, or
- have acquired substantially equivalent knowledge in some other way.In order to match the job requirements, the candidate should have specialization in biophysics, with documented knowledge (preferably having undertaken courses or work experience) on the following topics: Scientific programming, biophysics, molecular simulations and deep learning. Strong experience on IT and scientific computing includes: Unix-based systems, use of supercomputing centres, bash/shell scripting and scientific python programming. You must be able to teach in either Swedish or English, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as interpersonal characteristics compatible with being a team player.Additional qualificationsResearch experience acquired e.g. through independent projects, research training credits or work experience in applying deep learning methods on biochemical and biophysical investigations is considered an advantage.Rules governing PhD students are set out in the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5, §§ 1-7 and inAbout the employmentThe employment is a temporary position according to the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5 § 7.
