- Structures the General Accounting tasks for the supported companies and reporting units in a way, that the team's capabilities and strengths are best utilised
- Creates an inspiring, stimulating, goal oriented and supportive working climate by setting clear goals and responsibilities and enabling competence development
- Ensures that the services are executed with high quality and timeliness of the delivery; monitoring the progress in the closings, taking corrective action where needed and working operationally with the team in order to reach targets/deadlines
- Establishes a contact structure towards the business that is reliable, robust and trusted; contacts could and should be shared between all team members and the team manager
- Organises effective and efficient processes: Identifies improvement areas as well as risks, encourages an improvement culture and assures the implementation of improvements and risk mitigation, drives change
- Main contact person for the auditors for the Statutory Accounts and the local IFRS reviews for Vattenfall's group figures. Coordinates the audit process, organising meetings and information flow.
- Main contact person for Vattenfall's Group Accounting team
- Responsible for creating a well-functioning operational collaboration between the team and the BPO provider
- Cooperates with the other team managers in Accounting R2R to assure harmonised application of IFRS requirements across countries and to further harmonise processes
- Designs and implements effective and efficient interfaces to other staff functions; makes sure information is shared between the different teams in Finance Business Support
- Staff responsibility for the team; handling recruitments, promotions, competence development and salary negotiations together with department manager and HR
- Reports to department manager regarding target fulfilment, escalates issues/claims when needed to mitigate risk.
- Relevant University degree (e.g. Business and administration) or comparable other training
- Proven experience from managing teams
- Experience from working within Finance operations in a Shared Service organisation
- Deep understanding of accounting rules, Swedish accounting regulation as well as IFRS
- Good understanding of all Finance / Accounting processes
- Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Insights in the energy business will be beneficial
