You will join our Global FM and Real Estate Manager department
You will overall support Ramboll Sweden (RSE) on its strategic journey and help to deliver on the agreed operational and strategic targets for RSE.
You will be part of a team of FM Managers, reporting to the Global FM&RE Director based in Denmark – and work closely with the Swedish management to drive further development of the office portfolio and related services in Sweden.
You will be responsible for managing FM services and space in 34 locations (approx. 41000 m2) across Sweden that houses a total of +2000 employees. This also means that you will be responsible for an annual operational budget of more than 150 MSEK (+projects) and for management of a small team of FM professionals responsible for the day to day operation, project management and administration related to the office portfolio.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Drive further development of the office portfolio based on an office strategy for the coming years – to be developed in close collaboration with the Swedish management team – and in line with the overall Ramboll office strategies.
- Manage and further develop the FM organisation in Sweden - to ensure we deliver FM services to our users’ satisfaction whilst meeting budgets and other objectives set out for the FM operation.
- Minimise space usage and costs related to managing and operating the office portfolio whilst proposing workplace concepts to challenge the business thinking.
- Ensure a high level of satisfaction within our offices and related services among building users including our visitors.
- Lead various FM related projects with a national impact, e.g. implementation of new workflows, office refurbishments, FM related IT-applications.
- Lead your team to promote and implement sustainability objectives to positively influence CO2 and improve the wellbeing in our offices.
You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks, which require flexibility and prioritisation capability, and will allow you to utilise all your skills and abilities.
Some travel activity should be expected in Sweden.

You will hold a degree at B.Sc. or MSc. level in engineering, economics or similar and have extensive experience in Facilities Management and/or Real Estate Management, preferably in a large international organisation.
You will have solid experience with high level stakeholder management - as well as with people management, contract management and project management. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage change and to build and maintain relations with internal customers, decision makers, suppliers, and team members.
Furthermore, you are expected to be able to lead and provide support that is operationally useful in relation to overall development of strategies – and in relation to changes, quality, cost efficiency etc. for the services delivered by Global FM & RE and our suppliers.
You must be able to communicate effortlessly in Swedish, but English is our corporate language and therefore you must be able to present and communicate convincingly in English – to all levels of the organisation including senior management and other stakeholders.
You are an experienced user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, as well as other relevant applications.
You will be a self-starter and a strong leader. You are assertive with a willingness and ability to produce results in a complex and international organisation.

Global Facility Management and Real Estate (FM & RE) supports all Ramboll's business units and handles a variety of tasks related to particularly building operations, catering, cleaning, fleet, printing, receptions and site security.
Alongside the daily operations, we are working on the development of the function and continuous optimisation of our services to approx. 16,500 employees in approx. 300 offices in 35 countries worldwide.
We are a relatively new function formed in beginning of 2015 with a mission to ensure that we have an effective FM setup in place that across all countries can optimise our office portfolio and deliver effective FM services of high quality contributing to Ramboll's continued growth and development.
