Join Team Purple. Join IFS.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Solution Architect specializing in Aerospace and Defense to join our team in Linköping, Sweden. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that meet the complex needs of our aerospace and defense clients.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level solution architectures for aerospace and defense projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Design scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions using platforms like AWS and Azure
  • Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance our product offerings
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and development teams
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all solution designs
  • Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and contribute to proposal development
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the aerospace and defense sector
  • Readily discuss practical examples of unlocking customer value in a business context, in an impactful and relevant way (benchmarked, proven value)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least 5 years in the aerospace and defense industry
  • Proven track record of successful large-scale project implementations
  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS and Azure
  • Proficiency in systems engineering principles and software development methodologies
  • Advanced skills in data modeling and analysis
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • In-depth understanding of aerospace and defense industry, including military systems and requirements
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in the defense sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances may be required
