KONE’s class B shares are listed on Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd. in Finland.About the RoleAs a Procurement Specialist focusing on direct materials and installations, you’ll play a key role in our procurement organization. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the right quality, price, and delivery time for materials and services directly linked to our installations and projects. You’ll work with both strategic and operational tasks – from supplier selection and negotiation to placing orders and following up. The role requires close collaboration with teams such as engineering, production, and project management.Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with different parts of the business to understand needs
- Identifying local procurement opportunities, e.g. local materials, dismantling, inspection, concrete works, modernization/maintenance installations.
- Negotiating frame agreements and price lists with suppliers
- Acting as contract owner for these services and materials
- Supporting the implementation of global procurement strategies locally
- Collecting documentation from new suppliers and ensuring they are onboarded in our systems
- Occasionally supporting other units with procurement and representing their needs towards suppliers
- Relevant education in procurement, economics, engineering, or similar
- 1–3 years of experience in a relevant field
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
- Good skills in MS Office tools
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of supply markets in your area of responsibility
- Experience in supplier tendering and negotiations
- Knowledge of contract management
- Supplier relationship and performance management skills
- Familiarity with technologies or systems relevant to your area
