As the Webmaster at Proact, you'll be responsible for maintaining and managing our websites. You'll utilize your experience to craft compelling and visually engaging web content that aligns with Proact's long-term and short-term objectives. You'll be an integral part of the Digital Core Team, a select group of experts driving digital marketing initiatives across all Proact business units, and you’ll be reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing.Responsibilities:
Main point of contact for all website related matters
Building functional and user-friendly templates, websites, and blog posts
Testing websites across various browsers, operating systems, and devices
Optimising loading speeds and capacity
Debugging pages and rectifying broken links or images
Updating website content and conducting SEO reviews
Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting integrations with our marketing automation system and other tools
Educate all local website editors on processes and standards
Assisting local marketing teams with all website-related matters, including content advice and SEO guidance
Monitoring and analysing site performance metrics such as traffic and conversions
Keeping up-to-date of web standards and technologies to ensure the delivery of functional and user-friendly websites
Responsible for managing relationships with our web agency and internal IT. Includes planning, communicating, and managing infrastructure-related issues (e.g., maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, enhancing security, and ensuring compliance with Proact standards)
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience in a similar role as a Webmaster or Web Developer managing multiple websites in different languages
Proven proficiency working with WordPress
Knowledge of web analytics and SEO best practices
Familiarity with web standards and protocols
Some proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is advantageous
Experience using the Elementor website builder is a plus
Additional experience in digital marketing (e.g., advertising, social media, use of marketing automation systems) is a plus
